Celebrity or Politician? President Obama or Lady Gaga?  Who is more popular on Facebook, the king of cyber space social network?  Well, jury is in, Laday Gaga beat the President of the United States in this popularity contest on Facebook. 

Both President Obama's Page on Facebook, and Lady Gaga's Page on Facebook have reached about 9.1 million fans (or Likes) by Friday June 25, 2010.  Over the last two weeks, Lady Gaga's Fan count has been growing at more than 100,000 people per day, while President Obama who won his election partially with the power of social network, only grew at about 1/3 of that.  As the result, Laday Gaga cross the 10 million fans mark first.  On July 2, Lady Gaga sent a 34-seconds Thank You video to her fans on Facebook, thanking Her Little Monsters on Facebook for making her the first LIVING person reaching 10 million fans on Facebook.
